Congratulations Ben Cozad and Scarlett Morse for winning the 2025 MVHSSCA soccer senior scholarship!


Grand Valley High School is proud to announce the 2025 induction class into the school's athletic hall of fame.
This year's induction class includes Ed Pawlowski (Class of 1993), Steve Smith (Class of 1998), Bonnie Gargas Rojas (Class of 1999) and contributor Bill Nevison.
Induction weekend will be Friday, Dec. 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13. The hall of fame class will be introduced between the junior varsity and varsity games of the Dec. 12 boys basketball game between Grand Valley and Pymatuning Valley.
The official induction will take place on Saturday, Dec. 13 in the school's auditorium, with social beginning at 4:30 p.m. and dinner at 5 p.m., followed by the induction ceremony.
Pawlowski was a multi-sport athlete who lettered three times in football, three times in basketball and three times in baseball. He was part of the 1992 football team that went 10-0.
Smith was a three-year starter for the Grand Valley football team and anchor of the offensive line that helped the Mustangs to state-playoff appearances in 1996 and 1997. Smith also participated in basketball and track.
Rojas set program records in the shot put (37-2 1/2) and discus (128-5) that still stand today. She was a state-qualifier in the shot put and former league MVP and academic all-Ohioan in track.
Nevison coached youth basketball for more than 25 years, youth soccer for more than 15 years, was a athletic boosters member for more than 15 years and also filmed basketball games and ran the clock at games in his career.

If you would like your scholarships and future plans disclosed for our audience at graduation, you must turn in this document to the Guidance Office by Friday, May 9th.

Grand Valley Gridiron Club will be holding May’s meeting on Tuesday, 5/13 at 5 PM in the Middle School Library.

Grand Valley Local Schools was working with Gardiner Company to pursue grant funding to help with our HVAC and lighting for our school complex.
We are happy and fortunate to receive these funds!
Grand Valley Local School District (Ashtabula County) will receive $588,305 to upgrade to LED lighting, install a building automation system and a chiller. The project is expected to yield an annual utility savings of 37.8 percent.
