Thank you to our GVHS Boys Basketball Team for greeting our Elementary students today!

The Mustang Stable is blessed with many volunteers but GVMS students Kyndra, Kala, and Sophia are truly a step above. In these pictures, the girls are helping Ms. M get organized for our “Coats for Kids” Christmas Program. This program benefits students and families in our community with much needed essentials like winter clothing.
Ms. M is truly fortunate to have such an amazing group of students to work with.
The Stable wouldn’t be what it is without our student volunteers ❤️ #communityschools #clc #studentvolunteers

See you there GV!

Mrs. Greathouse’s amazing 5th grade class and The Mustang Stable are spreading holiday cheer! We are decorating gift bags for Country Neighbor and GV Rotary to distribute to recipients of their Meals on Wheels Program. 🎄

GV Community:
There was a report of a piece of ammunition found in the school. We went on lockdown to find out if this was accurate and in an abundance of caution, law enforcement and my administrators have been doing a full investigation during the lockdown to make sure there are not any other unsafe things in the school. Nothing else was found and law enforcement deemed everything safe.
The student who was associated with the piece of ammunition is being detained by law enforcement and has been since we originally locked down. All is safe now and we are resuming normal operations.
Thank you,
Dr. William R. Nye, Jr.

Administration and the Police Department has deemed everything is safe.
We take the safety of our students seriously and with an abundance of caution.
Classes have resumed and we are back to normal operations.

Grand Valley Local Schools is still in lockdown. Administrators and the Police Department are on site. All students are safe but Administration and the Police Department needs additional time to ensure safety of our students before resuming regular operations.
We will keep you posted when classes resume.

Don't forget, tomorrow 12/7/23 is our High School PTO meeting in the High School library at 6 p.m. Please take a moment and stop in with ideas to improve our student and staff experience at GVHS! We hope to see new faces tomorrow! Thank you! Roberta A. Cozad

Big win for the Lady Mustangs 42-35 over previously undefeated Wickliffe! The Lady Mustangs move to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.

The Mustang Stable is busy helping Santa!
Santa's helpers are busy writing replies back to all of the Christmas wish lists that were written during the GV Christmas Parade.

We had a VERY successful turn out for our Youth Opportunities Sign Up Drive last Friday! The Mustang Stable is working with Youth Opportunities to help support our students in reaching their life, career, and educational goals. We had 112 students attend the sign up drive and receive information on how the program could benefit them. If you are interested in your child attending the next Youth Opportunities Sign Up Drive, please contact Ms. M at The Mustang Stable. Thank you to Shanon, Jaime, and Bailey from YO for meeting with our GV Students. 💙
