Picture Day for GVMS and GVHS is this Monday and Tuesday! Group A will get their picture taken on Monday. Group B on Tuesday. Atech students can come either day starting at 7am. Attached are the codes to order online. Thank you!

Good Afternoon Grand Valley Elementary! It has been a great week. Please make sure your child is reading each night for 20 minutes and completing any homework assigned by your child's teacher. Thank you and have a great weekend!

Reminder GVMS and GVHS Families: If your child is at home logging on for class, make sure they are going to the Attendance Classroom to check in for attendance. Please have them do this before they report to 1st period. This will give us the exact time they are logging in and we can let you know when you call to see why you got the absence auto call. Unfortunately, if it is after 8am when they log in, we have to send the auto call per state laws. Please note, we do have an increase in phone calls this year, so please be patient with us and we will return your call as soon as we can. Thank you!

​In grade 6-12, we recognize that there have been many concerns and issues with tracking daily attendance of our online and virtual learners. Today every student in the middle school and high school received an invitation to a grand Valley daily attendance classroom. Please have your child check their email and accept the Google invite which is where we will track daily attendance. Every day your child will need to login to the daily attendance classroom check-in that they are there and then proceed to their first period google classroom. The students must have checked in their daily attendance by 8 AM so that we can take daily attendance at the school that is required by law. If your child did not receive an invitation in their email they can use the google codes below: High School Daily Attendance Google Classroom code: k4m5fh5 Middle School Daily Attendance Google Classroom code: en7jcxc We appreciate very much all of the grace you have offered us as a school district and your understanding that we are sometimes learning as we go as much as you are. GVHS Atech Students: For picture day on 9/14 and 9/15/20, if you would like to pick up an order form for your child, please stop in the GVHS office. Inter-State Studio will be here starting at 7am on the above dates to take pictures. Thank you!

Attention GVHS Student Drivers: Please be sure to send in your parking permit form and money to Mrs. Gibbons. $12.00 for the initial decal and then $6.00 every year after that. If you sent in the permit form without the money, you can send it in by check or cash. Thank you!

GVMS and GVHS Group B Students: If you have not turned in your paperwork yet, please bring it in tomorrow and give to your homeroom teacher. Picture day for elementary students will be September 3rd and 4th. 3rd-5th grade and Preschool will be on 9/3. Kindergarten- 2nd grade will be on 9/4. Retakes will be January 14th.

Please remember kindergarten orientation will be on Monday, August 31st Boys - 5:00-5:45 p.m. and Girls - 6:00-6:45 p.m. Please come in the main office doors and please only one parent per child.
