Please note the new hours of the MS and HS offices. The office will be available by phone from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday-Friday, except for Spring Break.
If you need to drop off school work, please come between 9:00 am-12:00 pm, M-F, and place it in the designated box in the main entrance foyer.
If you can not make it between these times, please call the office to make arrangements.
Also, please call ahead if you need to come into the office for any reason.

GRAND VALLEY,
School will be in regular session on Friday, March 13, 2020.
Due to Governor DeWine's directive, starting Monday March 16th, there will be no school until Monday, April 6th. To clarify, Monday, March 16th, there will be no school due to a local decision. Sometime before April 6th, there will be updated information about a possible return date to resume school. Please watch for email blasts, website updates and school call out systems for future updates.
Athletics: We will halt all athletic practices and athletic events until we get further notice. We will wait to see if there will even be a spring athletic season. Mr. Terry Hejduk will keep all coaches current with any updated information. Coaches will then communicate to their athletes.
During this time, school buildings and grounds will be closed and only open to school personnel.
We want to make sure all keeps up with good practices recommended by the Ohio Health Department, the CDC and the Ohio Department of Education. Take care and we will get through this tough time.

Attention Freshmen Families:
The field trip scheduled for the 9th grade to go to Kent State Ashtabula on Friday, March 13th has been cancelled. We will keep you posted if this event is rescheduled.

Congratulations to Mason Shreve on his 4th place finish this past weekend at the Division III District Wrestling Championships! With his 4th place finish, Mason will be traveling to Columbus and competing in the Ohio State Wrestling Championships!
Way to go Mason!
Don't forget GVMS Family Learning night is Wednesday in the MS gym. Kent State has generously offered to help put on the night! There will be KSU swag bags and basket raffles for the students to win! Please come out and learn alongside of your child!

The Middle School 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team will travel tomorrow, 3/4/20 to Burton Elementary to play against Geneva’s 7th grade girls in the CVC Tournament which starts at 4:30 p.m. If they win, they will travel to Geneva High School on Saturday, 3/7/20 at 10:15 a.m. to compete for the Championship. Good Luck Girls and Bring Home the Trophy!!!!!!

GVHS students (and future freshmen) went home with their schedule planning sheets last week for the next school year. These documents and our 2020/21 Course Catalog are on our website under "Grand Valley High School" and then the "documents" link.
Schedules are due this week to the Guidance Department.
